INTRODUCTION

I am a Team Lead with ~9+ years of experience.
I have a significant hands-on (IC) as well as team management experience, on projects distributed across borders and time zones.
I care deeply about product quality, and I believe that as a QA, the primary questions we should be asking are, “Are we building the right product? Who are we serving, and are we serving them well?” I enjoy being involved in all phases of software development, right from planning to delivery and maintenance.
I am an enthusiastic learner constantly looking to expand my horizons. Lately I have been dabbling in general purpose programming and DevOps.
I am quite keen on agile development methodology, with the collective code ownership paradigm extending to QAs on the team too. I believe an appropriate collaboration model between QAs and developers is critical for quality.
Although my experience has largely been in banking and finance, I am open to other domains too.
I wish to work for an organization that offers a healthy mix of challenging work, autonomy, learning opportunities, career growth, and mentorship.

Preparing and helping the team for the testing based on requirements/specifications.
Provide subject matter expertise to the team during test cases and scripts preparation to help them understand and prepare for testing.
Highlighting Risk and Issues on timely basis.
Identifying requirement Gaps.
Test effort estimation and test plan preparation based on requirement documents and other relevant documents describing changes.
Preparing Test Plan , test cases and execution of test scripts and updating results in HP ALM.
Preparing daily execution and defect MIS to report progress for projects on a daily basis.
Rationalization of the defects/issues raised and raising them to the stakeholders for timely resolution.
Participating in regular update meetings with client, stakeholders meetings and status update meetings with senior management.
Preparing new functionality training documents.
Additional Task: Performing Quality Audit across the teams.
