Key Responsibilities:

1. API Optimization and Standardization
   • Identify and remove unused and deprecated code from APIs used by the mobile app.
   • Standardize API responses, including payload structures and error handling.
   • Simplify APIs by implementing guidelines and rules defined by the technical team.
2. Event-Driven Architecture Preparation
   • Prepare the BFF for an Event-Driven Architecture, enabling backend-to-mobile app communication.
   • Design and implement technical solutions to enhance backend push capabilities for improving the user experience.
3. Framework Creation and Standardization
   • Build frameworks to ensure API consistency and scalability.
   • Drive the adoption of best practices across API and backend development.
4. Collaboration and Integration
   • Work closely with the existing team to integrate seamlessly into ongoing projects.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a backend engineer, particularly with TypeScript and NestJS.
• Expertise in Docker for containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS Managed Services, particularly for Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with implementing push notifications or backend push capabilities for mobile apps.
• Deep knowledge of API standardization and creating robust frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable backend solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of best practices in backend optimization and performance tuning.
