TechnicalSkills :
- Understanding of the architectures for Sharepoint as it relates to O365 platform
- Demonstrated ability in .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET and Visual Studio.NET as well as ASP, HTML, XML, XSLT, Javascript and VBScript
- Develop custom solution by using SPFX
- Experience with PowerApps and Power Automation
- Scripting experience (Powershell)
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, including database/web connectivity
- Demonstrated ability to develop software/code (following firm standards) directly applicable to technology encompassed in assigned applications.
- Experience with enterprise search, workflow and collaboration desired
- Experience working in a high-availability environment, providing 24x7 service
- Experience in migration using Third Party tools
- Portal Development experience using OOTB and Custom coding
- Knowledge in MS Azure - Logic Apps & Web apps, Yammer, OneDrive and Teams is added advantage.
- Detailed knowledge of applicable Microsoft technologies, networking concepts and common infrastructure is added advantage
Responsibilities:
- Acts as Technical Reference User for assigned applications, frequently working with Business Reference User(s) to understand how applications are used at the firm.
- Maintains awareness of technology developments and makes recommendations to the Biz Application Team.
- Assists with resolution of escalated incidents and participates in problem management activities.
- Assumes ownership of level 3 support and troubleshooting of assigned applications.
- Assists in evaluating the business relevance and requirements of applications and upgrades under consideration.
- Performance monitoring and tuning.
- Documenting system configuration, installation, incident reports and resolution.
- Performing system and application administration.
- Participate in full lifecycle projects related to Sharepoint implementations.
- Manage application deployments, including webparts, infopath, publishing pages adhering to the necessary change control policies.
- Backup and recovery.
- Supporting Site and site collection administrators.
- Partnering with Windows system administrators, SQL database administrators, network engineers, and other counterparts to manage the overall health of the entire Sharepoint stack.
- Focus on end user enablement, SharePoint policies and methodology, evangelization of the powers of SharePoint. Examples would be that users have a problem they can explain to this person who would then make suggestions on how to best implement a solution to solve the problem and upon agreement implements the solution as proposed.
- Be an accelerator the adoption of SharePoint, save users from becoming an expert themselves, ensure consistency and improve overall productivity across the company.
Experience: 5 + years of experience in SharePoint domain.
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements
