Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team under the guidance of our experienced Tech Lead. This role is ideal for a passionate and skilled developer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is excited about the opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance our student services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with the Tech Lead and development team to design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of our platform.

● Contribute to the development of our mobile app using React Native, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.

● Implement and manage cloud-based solutions to support mobile app and data engineering initiatives, with a strong focus on AWS services such as Amplify, Cognito, and others.

● Develop and maintain data pipelines, storage solutions, and data models to support personalized student services.

● Ensure seamless integration of new features and services with existing platforms, including Twilio, Zendesk, and Zoho.

● Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and improve team performance.

● Address and resolve technical challenges that arise during development.

● Stay updated with new technologies relevant to our product and industry.

● Participate in agile practices such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

● Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and design decisions.

 

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in full stack development.

● Proficiency in mobile app development with React Native.

● Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, including Amplify and Cognito.

● Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and practices.

● Hands-on experience with modern technology stacks and frameworks.

● Proficiency with platforms such as Twilio, Zendesk, and Zoho.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.

● Enthusiastic about driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience working in a startup environment.

● Knowledge of data privacy regulations and security best practices.

● Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

● Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies.
