Project1: AdaptiveCruiseControl
Role :SystemValidationEngineer.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is an automotive feature that allows a vehicle's cruise control systemto adapt the vehicle's speed to the traffic environment.A radar system attached to the front of thevehicle is used to detect whether slower moving vehicles are in the ACC vehicle's path.If a slowermoving vehicle is detected, the ACC system will slow the vehicle down and control the clearance, ortime gap, between the ACC vehicle and the forward vehicle. This operation allows the ACC vehicletoautonomouslyslowdownand speedup withtrafficwithoutinterventionfromthedriver.
Project2: GMPOWERTAKE OFF(PTO).
Role :SystemTestingEngineer
The PTO is a Truck Equipment Manufacture (TEM) integrated system that allows the user to createan auxiliary power source for running add-on equipment, such as salt spreaders, dump beds, lifts, winches, and lift buckets etc. The PTO system controls engine speed to values higher than normalbase idle,PTOload relayengagement, and remote startingand shutdownofthe engine.
