Profitero (08/2021 - Present)

Profitero provides an actionable eCommerce analytics and insights platform for its customers and wants to modernize its current Regional Analytics platform. Existing architecture was proprietary, on premise and deemed a limiter to future growth. A decision to move to technically advanced “cloud” IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) based architecture was made with the goal of quick prototyping and feedback for greater functionality and capacity for growth. The AWS platform has been Identified as the main development platform of choice for this initiative.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developed ELT process using snowflake integration with Lambda for handling dynamic folder structure (Architecting multiple snow pipes).

Creation of the staging tables in the staging schema and config tables in config schema as per the requirement.

Explored use of tasks in snowflake to maintain the history of DML statements data and transformation.

Created S3 event notification to load the data using AWS lambda service.

Working on configuring snow pipe for auto ingestion of data from AWS S3 buckets to snowflake staging area.

Integration with backend systems and third-party through API.

Technologies used in this project PYTHON, DJANGO, POSTGRESQL Royalty Exchange is an American company that operates an online platform for buying and selling royalty assets of any type, mostly music, where royalty owners can sell their future payments to investors as alternative assets. The company hosts a centralized marketplace and online auction platform that connects a community of over 22,500+ investors with owners of royalty-based assets.

Designed and maintained databases using Python and developed Python based API (Restful Web Service) using Django.

Designed and developed the earnings statements uploader using python and Django.

Developed business logic followed by coding standards defined in PEP8 document.
