Project Description:

In India we can see there are many Health Insurance Providers who can provide the health plans where a patient can buy a plan and in future if he/she is hosplitalized based on the plan he has taken, the Insurance provider will pay the money we call these plans as Health Insurance Polocies. Let’s say one is buying the medicine from the Pharmacy and he doesn’t want to pay whole money, part of the money should be paid by an insurance company, if he is searching for that kinda Insurance company he will be ending up with the disappointment because there is no company which is providing drug insurance in India. But in US there are many companies which are providing Drug Insurance. we call them as PBM companies. In our application we are developing the interface for registering for the plan, claiming the plan, and the system to check the prescribed drug is covered in the plan or not.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Designed several JSP pages.
• Involved in Developing Controller Classes with Request Mapping methods using SpringMVC Framework.
• Involved in writing Bean Configuration files using SpringIoc.
• Involved in Integrating Spring Framework with Hibernate Framework.
• Responsible for creating Hibernate Entity classes and configuring the Mappings between Entities.
• Responsible for developing several Model (POJO) classes
• Involved in Developing DAO classes (Persistence Logic) with Hibernate.
